Cast [two-actions] somatic, verbal

Duration 1 minute A 15-foot-long whip of magical force springs from your hand.


You wield it as a normal whip, with all the whip’s traits. You may choose to inflict either lethal or nonlethal damage without penalty. An animal you strike with the whip must make a Will save. On a failure, the animal is frightened 2 for 1d4 rounds.

You also can use the following action.

Crack Whip [one-action] Each animal within 30 feet of you must make a Will save. On a failure, the animal is frightened 2 for 1 round and attempts to remain at least 30 feet away from you for the duration. A successful Command an Animal (DC equal to your spell save DC) overrides this desire to remain distant from you.

The spell gains the auditory, emotion, and fear traits.
