Disease Earth Transmutation Wood

Traditions arcane, primal

Cast [three-actions] material, somatic, verbal

Range 60 feet; Area 10-foot cube

You instantly excavate a 10-foot square, 10-foot deep pit lined with sharpened spikes. The Perception DC to notice the pit is equal to your spell save DC. A creature that enters the area must attempt a Reflex save. On a failure, it falls into the pit, taking 1d6 falling damage and 1d6 piercing damage; additionally, the creature must attempt a Fortitude save. On a failure, the creature takes a –10 status penalty to its speed. On a critical failure the creature is afflicted with goblin pox, per the goblin pox spell. A successful Medicine check against your spell save DC, or magical healing, removes the status penalty to speed. A creature attempting to Climb out of the pit and critically failing its Athletics check falls into the pit, taking damage as above.

Heightened (3rd) The area increases to a 20-foot cube.

A creature falling into the pit takes 2d6 falling damage and 2d6 piercing damage.
