Phoenix Wings

Phoenix Wings Spell3

Fire Morph Transmutation

Traditions arcane, primal

Cast [three-actions] material, somatic, verbal

Duration sustained up to 10 minutes

You transform your arms into sweeping wings of reddish-gold feather shrouded in blazing fire. While using these wings, any items worn or held on your arms meld into your form. Magic items worn on your hands or arms continue to function, but you cannot Activate an Item that has been subsumed. You can make an unarmed strike with the wings that deal 1d4 bludgeoning damage and 1d6 fire damage. A creature that Grapples you takes 1d6 fire damage. For the duration, you gain a fly speed of 60 feet. If you are immersed in water or exposed to hurricane-force winds, the wings are instantly extinguished.

Additionally, if you are exposed to heavy rain or snow or strong wings, you must attempt a flat DC 10 flat check each round you are exposed. On a failure, your wings are extinguished. When your wings become extinguished, you begin to float gently to the ground as though affected by the feather fall spell. Each round thereafter, you must attempt a flat DC 10 flat check. On a failure, you plummet to the ground, taking falling damage from your current height.
